II Timothy 3:1-5

II Timothy 3:1-5

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

Isaiah 24:1

And few men are left.

And he shall perform all My pleasure,
Saying to Jerusalem, “You shall be built,”
And to the temple, “Your foundation shall be laid.” '

Amos 3:7

Surely the Lord God does nothing,
Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

He lays it low to the ground,
He brings it down to the dust

Revelations 18:15-18

15 The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16 and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! 17 For in one hour such great riches [a]came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance 18 and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’

Isaiah 24:7-9

The new wine fails, the vine languishes,
All the merry-hearted sigh.

Strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.

14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing;
For the majesty of the Lord
They shall cry aloud from the sea.
15 Therefore glorify the Lord in the dawning light,
The name of the Lord God of Israel in the coastlands of the sea.
16 From the ends of the earth we have heard songs:

Indeed, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.”

The surface of the covering cast over all people,
And the veil that is spread over all nations.

As with the creditor, so with the debtor.
